Williamston knew we could get them … there is some satisfaction in that I guess. “The Hornets, who entered the state finals as the top-ranked team in Division 3 for the fifth consecutive year, knew West Catholic was the only team that posed a threat to the program’s second state title, Lutzke said.”

The 20-20 photos of the state meet are now up. Of course they would like you to order some of them. I sometimes wonder if the reason they make it so hard for us to see the runners is to be sure we have to buy their pictures.

Here are the top ten:

It took about six times as long to find out the results.
It was an agonizing wait for West Catholic boys coach Denny Scully, but in the end there were […]

In another interesting comparison, this years team easy ran better from top to bottom than the 2003 State Championship Team! They would have beat that team in a dual on the MIS course 21-34. While it is only a paper race, the times, when put side to side, demonstrate how significantly improved the […]

We often compare last years teams to this years teams. Here is a comparision of the 2004 seasons best times vs the 2005 season best times for the women’s team. As you can see, we are a significantly improved team this year as we win 23-36:
01 2005 Olivia Sydow 19:23
02 2004 Kathleen Ryan […]

Looks to be spectacular. Very little wind (will be a tailwind when outside the stadium). Some chance of a few showers and 55-60 degrees by race time. I love cross country — fresh air, leaves on the trees and competition to make it all exciting.
